Acceptance criteria for fundseekers

Fundseeker criteria

To be verified as a fundseeker on Match | Te Puna Taurite (MTPT), your organisation must demonstrate that it meets the criteria of one or more of the options below. We will be opening up to more non-registered groups over time.

You must:

1. Be a registered charity
2. Be registered with a fundholder
3. Be an Ākina certified impact supplier
4. Be recommended by an existing MTPT funder

1. Registered charity

You are a registered charity if your organisation is listed on the Charities Register. Upon joining, an email will be sent to the address listed on the register in order to verify your charity status.

2. Fundholder accredited

You are fundholder accredited if you are registered with a charity fundholder such as The Gift Collective or umbrellaed by a registered charity. This allows your organisation to receive funding via an existing registered charities bank account and Charities Commission (CC) number.

Upon joining, an email will be sent asking you to provide evidence of your registration with a charity fundholder. This information will be used to verify you as funderholder accredited.

3. Ākina impact supplier

You are an Ākina impact supplier if you are listed on their impact directory. Ākina certification indicates an organisation’s ability to deliver positive impact through the selling of goods and services. You can learn more here.

Upon joining, an email will be sent asking you to provide evidence of your certification. This information will be used to verify you as an Ākina impact supplier.

 4. Funder recommended

You are funder recommended if you are a non-registered charity that has been referred for funding by at least one of the listed funders on Match | Te Puna Taurite.

Upon joining, an email will be sent asking you to provide written evidence of the funders referral. This information will be used to verify you as funder recommended.
